Bubbles, Bottles and Boards

Ça Va, pronounced “sah-vah”, is a small champagne bar located in Westport, Kansas City, Missouri. With “French flair and a Midwestern heart” Ça Va offers dinner and Sunday brunch.

Sip on champagne, wine and cocktails in the classy, dark atmosphere all the way until 1AM. Much of Ça Va’s food and even drink come from local Kansas and Missouri farms and makers.

My Favorite Cheese Plate

The Cheese Plate comes with bold, salty, crunchy crackers, a dab of honey, and soft, pickled pears. Pictured below you will find soft goat, sheep and cow cheeses from Dutch Girl Creamery and Green Dirt Farms. So delicate, yet so flavorful.

It feels like time stops while you are enjoying this cheese board.

This full board, at $18, may seem intimidating, but it is well worth it.

If you are looking to find a deal, check out Ça Va’s happy hour. During happy hour, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 4-6PM, Ça Va offers a $7 featured cheese plate. It comes with the fabulous crackers, pickled pears and one featured cheese.

Though the offerings may change from time to time, I trust Ça Va to offer us an inspired cheese plate any time of year. Currently, the plate features Cottonwood Cheddar, ‘Sneek’ 1000 day aged Gouda, and Bossa.

“We like bubbles. That’s the first thing you should know about us.”
